Below you will find answers to the most commonly asked member interaction questions.

How do I send a message?

Once on the profile that you would like to message, click on the 'Send Message' button. Core Members can send unlimited messages and virtual stickers.

How do I delete a conversation?

To delete a conversation, check on the box that corresponds to the conversation you want to delete, scroll down and click 'Delete Selected'.

How do I reply to a message?

Tap on the speech bubble icon at the top of the page. Select the message you wish to reply to and compose your message. Your conversations will be saved for 29 days.

If a message is missing from your inbox, it may be for the following reasons:

  1. The message was over 30 days old
  2. Apples blocked a cut and paste message, or a message with inappropriate content
  3. The user deleted their account
  4. If there is no trace of the user who wrote you the message, the user may have been removed from the system by a moderator


Matchmaker settings and editing

Matchmaker is a “set up and go” feature where you describe who you would like to meet and Matchmaker will present you with a list of matches.

As well as presenting you a live list, you will receive updates of new matches via email. If you do not wish to receive such emails, you can alter this in your notifications area.

You can access your Matchmaker settings by clicking the smiley face in user menu at the top. Once you have selected your criteria click the 'Update' button.

How do I send someone a sticker?

To send someone a sticker, tap the sticker icon on a member’s profile. Your sticker will appear on their profile and they will also receive your personalized message in their inbox. Core Members can send unlimited stickers.

How can I see if my message has been read?

To see if a user has read your message you must upgrade to Core membership. To become a Core Member and learn about the many benefits that come with it, visit your 'Settings' page.
