What is Zechstein magnesium?

The magnesium chloride used by KIKI comes from Zechstein deposits deep beneath Northern Europe. These underground salt deposits formed from an ancient sea hundreds of millions of years ago and today provide a source of magnesium chloride used in a number of topical magnesium products.
